Who writes our health articles?

Every article on this site is written by the doctor who actually treats that condition at our Indore clinic: Dr. Soumya S. Maurya, MBBS, MS (ENT), for ear, nose, throat and head–neck topics, and Dr. Arpit Maurya, MBBS, MS (Orthopaedics), for bone, joint and sports-injury topics. We do not publish anonymous or outsourced content, and no article is generated without a treating specialist's involvement.

How are articles medically reviewed?

Before publication, each article is reviewed by the named specialist for clinical accuracy, and the reviewer and review date are shown on the article itself. Reviews check that the guidance matches current practice and that nothing overstates what treatment can achieve. Articles are written as general education for patients in Indore and are deliberately conservative: when in doubt, they tell you to get examined rather than to self-treat.

What sources do we rely on?

Where an article states facts or figures, it cites publicly verifiable medical authorities — such as the World Health Organization, the US CDC and NIH, the UK NHS, and peer-reviewed literature indexed on PubMed — with links in the text. Statistics are kept only when the source can be checked by the reader.

How often is content updated?

Each article displays its published and last-updated dates. We re-review articles when medical guidance changes, when readers or patients point out an error, and otherwise on a periodic cycle. What our articles are not

Articles are general information, not a diagnosis and not a substitute for examination. Medicine names and doses are avoided deliberately, because the right treatment depends on the person in front of the doctor.
